Through the forums came the idea of a wiki-based resource base. A wiki-based design allows for any user who would like to add to a paragraph or add an entire section of information can do so without having a slow, forum-based conversation, but instead through editing the main content of the website, like an author editing a book. This led to the birth of Wikibotics, a robotics knowledgebase open to anyone who might want to read more than anyone should about robotics. Here, we have given a start to devoting the site to measuring levels of competencies via the use of different machinery, knowledge of various motors and parts, to the fundemental design of a robot.
